Hamilton Beach 18 qt Roaster oven?
I have a Hamilton Beach 18 qt Roaster Oven. I make a turkey for dinner tonight. I placed Turkey in the butter with salt and pepper, onion and garlic. I also put about 4 cups of water in the bottom of the pan we will not prepare a sauce pot of sauce, we have, because my stepfather loves it. My question is: Do you think its well water? Is not not enough water? Does he need more water? My husband said he had no water right. Please let me know what you think I should do. Dinner is at 5PM thank you all for the answers.

Place onion and celery inside turkey. Rub outside with salt and pepper. Place on a rack. Brush the entire turkey with butter. Place in roaster and cook 1 & 1 / 2 to 2 hours. Check meat thermometer reading. The turkey is cooked when the thermometer reads 180 degrees. Always thaw a frozen turkey in the refrigerator, not at room temperature. A frozen turkey will take 12-15 Pound 2-3 days to thaw in the refrigerator. If you're in a hurry by the time this size turkey can be thawed in cold water in 6-9 hours.
