I'll admit that before starting I did not really need a coffee machine before buying this again!
That said, my old coffee was not brilliant and I found the flavor very quickly deteriorated while sitting on the cushion warming. I was looking for a maker with a thermal carafe to keep warm and also to greater capacity as the number of coffee drinkers who come into my house.

Up Now I am delighted with the result. The large carafe keeps even my family in the coffee, the taste is great and the temperature is kept straight the thermal carafe for at least 8 hours without staleness creeping in because there is no warming plate.
When coffee has brewed, the coffee machine beeps to let you know then seals the lid it turns off and the machine is an attractive option.
Cleaning and Maintenance is very simple with the basic need only wipe with a damp cloth while the basket, carafe and lid can be washed in hot water then rinse thoroughly.
So, are we satisfied with our purchase of Cuisinart DTC 975 Programmable Auto Brew 12 Cup Coffee? Yes! The flavor is much improved over our old system and there is much less bitter than you arrive with less responsibility.
