Pourover Coffee

There are several ways to go about brewing a great cup of coffee, and my preferred method is the French press. Even something as simple as it is done wrong all the time, resulting in a cup of coffee suboptimal. If you want a cup of tea in the morning, follow this method.
1. Take the necessary items, including your French press of course, bottled water measured in the right amount, a good quality coffee (ground and measured), a kitchen timer and a kettle to boil your water. Note: You will need about a teaspoon (which should be 7.25 grams, make sure yours is just because many are too small) by 4 to 5 ounces of water. Be sure to use enough coffee. Most people do not use the proper amount, resulting in bad taste.
2. Grind your coffee with a grinder Burr. This should be fine, even milling. Pour it into the glass carafe of the press.
3. Meanwhile, boil your specified quantity water in your kettle on the stove. When it reaches boiling point, let it sit for about 30 seconds to a minute to reach the optimal temperature from 195 to 200 degrees and pour on your property (in the glass carafe). Place the plunger loosely and lightly over the pitcher, but must not push down into the water and coffee. You just want to keep the heat in. Set your kitchen timer for 3 minutes and press Start.
4. After 1 minute has passed, swirl the water around so you can be sure that all grounds sink and not float on top. Continue wait.
5. After 2 minutes (3 minutes in all), press the plunger down slowly. If you try to grow too quickly, you will encounter resistance, therefore a slow and steady release works best.
6. Immediately pour your coffee into your cup. Enjoy an excellent cup of tea.
Please note that the above steps assume you have a grinder that can grind coffee fine enough. Your French Instructions News you may say to grind coarse and steep for 4 minutes. This also works well, but I really like the taste of the finer grind and soak for 3 minutes.
