"Works well but it feeds power 23 hours 59 minutes 50 seconds"
By C. Lott
Ok so I transferred and listened to the coffee fanatic hype about how Burr grinders are just so much better than blade grinders. Purchased it because he has received criticism decent price, very boring, not horrible. I got mine at a very well known kitchen store in the mall, but without importance. This model grinds very well. I think we use more coffee than before, because it eats cars beans. Previously, we had just enough dump balls in the mill blade by hand. This leads me to boredom first. The small rotor button to set the hour grind is really pathetic. It should be a sort of clicky button with positive stops, then it would remain at about the setting you want, day after day. Instead, it a very soft, infinitely adjustable wheel that moves when a fly lands on him, with the result that it is never always the same two times. Usually, it is moved and the resulting coffee is WAY black. Ok, I admit that I like it that way. Nevertheless for prevent cases of shingles really bad :-) I finally put a piece of tape over the button so it stays in place, looks like shit tho. If you Stainless steel monster you'll like this look, if you hate fingerprints as I do not like it nearly as much. Regarding static I find that very good fresh beans suffer from static, while beans elders who have not much less. I often get a mess on the counter trying to make the ground coffee, because it jumps around, I think due to static electricity. I wonder if a sensor of metal is better because the charge would not accumulate the way it does on the plastic, but then of course you would not be able to see through the side. Ah, compromise. Ok, finally an explanation of this title examination, boredom second. We grind 10 seconds worth of coffee every day, which seems to be sufficient to 2 cups decent. The remaining 23 hours, 59 minutes and 50 seconds of every day this thing slurps enough power to make significant if hot. I want it to be 99.9% OFF of the day when I'm not using it. Give me a break, at that price they could have used a decent food, instead of switching to a old wall wart down, right? Well, happy grinding.
