Home Brew

Despite the title I really do love wine and food of Italy, France, Germany and other countries too. And who among us may reject a good deal? But I also hate wine and many aspects of the wine scene. Let me explain my top ten reasons for this love-hate relationship. Previous articles discussed the ineligible expense, the embarrassing lack of knowledge, no wine cellar, I can not get the … bottle open insomnia, eating problems, wine snobs, and smells and tastes of wine, and wine colors. This article discusses the home brewing and the solution.
Why I am not a fan of home-made wine? To make it short and sweet, I've never tasted a wine house that does not taste like a home-made wine. When you know a little about the complexity of the wine production, it is difficult to believe that you can go into a store, buy concentrated liquid, pour it into bottles, pressure on a badly adjusted cap, and two months (or is it two weeks?) get a quality product. I know I'm exaggerating a bit, but the truth remains. History shows again and again devoted fans have stood up to and even exceeded professionals. But unskilled amateurs?
I think we can make an exception for people who have had the wine in the family for generations. They may get their grapes to a brew-Outfit own, especially if they live in a city apartment. But they do not only water, stir, wait a few weeks and hope get better than wine grandpa, except perhaps for the last batch he made when he went blind and I tried to mount the alcohol with salt instead of sugar. In conclusion, brew your own beer, maybe wine, ever.
There is a problem more wine, but it does for your business.
And now for the solution. I was told that the solution to these problems is to stop drinking wine and go to mineral water, beverages, tofu, or even single malt Scotch. To which I reply, ever. Now if you'll excuse me, there is this bottle special that I intended to open for a long time. It's expensive, I am not sure of his vines, it was not kept in the cellar, I know I'll have trouble opening it, I will not sleep tonight, there is nothing but day-old pizza in the fridge, the guy in the wine shop turned his nose when I bought it, my nose is stuffy and my color map is not found, but this is not home brew I know I'll enjoy it. It might even tempt me to write a series on top ten reasons I love wine. (But not the scene of wine.)
Levi Reiss has authored or co-authored ten books on computers and the Internet, but to be honest, he would rather just drink fine Italian, French, or other wine, accompanied by the right foods and spend time with his wife and family. He teaches classes in computers at an Ontario French-language community college. Among his many web sites he is particularly proud of his new love and relationships site celebrating mostly spiritual and on occasion physical love at http://www.loveamourlove.com. You will find a wide range of articles devoted to various aspects of love, and a special collection of love quotes in both English and French (with translations.) Check out his global wine website at http://www.theworldwidewine.com with his new weekly column reviewing $10 wines.
